Lauren Cook is Lauren Koch*

I am an actress and a writer who dislikes cats and blue cheese.

If I were to start a fan club it would be equal parts Jenny Lewis Club and Gena Rowlands Club.

I majored in theater at Barnard college, Columbia University. After graduating, I spent time studying Chekhov with Russians and improv comedy without Russians. A former member of the sketch comedy group Quiet Library, I performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade. Watch a sketch from that era here. Following that, I made out with Anne Hathaway once removed. I often write and act for Phoebeworks Productions. In 2008, FLOATERS, the web series I starred in and wrote for went to Sundance. As a writer, I won an Emmy for having written it. Watch it here.
